I have been looking at the Toyota Venza. Even took it for a test drive, but couldn't agree on a trade-in price for my car. Venzas are a little larger than the Prius, but I like the looks of the Prius and of course, the MPG. I am not in a hurry so I can weigh all my options before I write that big check! I want something a little bigger than I have just in case I have to take my parents, my dog, & luggage out of here because of a hurricane. I think if it was just my dog & me I would get the Prius now.

Thanks for all the good information. I'm still looking & not sure what I will buy. Was leaning towards Toyota, but Honda is looking good, too.

Wow, 9 years on a battery & it was still under warranty. That's pretty good. If I buy a hybrid, guess I'll just have to remember to trade it in when it is 8 years old or younger! I wonder if the Prius warranty is that good, though??

How old was your battery pack on your 2000 Insight when you had to replace it? Just wonder how long those things last as I was looking at a Prius, but not sure I want to pay that much to replace the battery. Thanks!

Check out goldmoney.com where you can deal in gold, siver bullion and swap between currencies without purchasing metal.

It is good to see that there are intelligent people out there. I agree, we cannot keep producing C02. The world is already loaded down with too much.

I absolutely agree with you about Chu's intelligence!

Good comments on the CA Oil article. Too few sane people tonight on that one. BTW, my son is a big wine and beer brewer.
