You make very good points about the Keystone XL pipeline. The oil will eventually get to market and the world needs the energy. Pipelines are also better than shipping oil by rail and a pipeline could also pickup oil in the Dakotas and get it to market. However, I think that Canada should have a refinery built near the tar sands and then send the refined products east by pipeline toward their population centers and potentially lower the exorbitant prices that their own citizens have to pay for fuel. I respect your decision not to accept buddies here. I like collecting peoples avatars, used to not accept any black and gray profiles. FYI, there are at least three other members that have that exact same avatar of three Emperor Penguins; Peachy1 - ed1real - peapaw . Hope that you have a great spring week there in Atlanta. Hi zaq001, Saw your good comment on "Alberta ramps up Keystone lobby". I say: The Keystone XL is NOT bringing cheap Canadian oil to the U.S. for use here to lower our prices at the pump. The oil and the refined products will be transshipped to the high paying markets in Asia. The United States citizens will not benefit. The Canadians will benefit some, Big Oil will benefit a LOT and the markets in Asia will use all of the new supply. Want to become buddies??? Warren {:-)

Hi zaq001, Great comment on today's news item: "Enbridge teams with U.S. firm in $3.4-billion pipeline proposal". We do have to get the oil to the refineries. I hope that they sell the finished product here in the U.S. A. and lower our fuel prices. That is a great avatar picture. Want to become buddies??? Warren :o)
