The Toyota offers two sources of energy, so if one fails or runs out of energy the other kicks in.

They are launching this in only 15 states, and all states in 2013.

The prius has an established name and value, where as the volt is new and there have already been problems with it.

The Volt seems to do pretty well & trumps the Leaf.

A 100% built in Japan electric car. Wonderful. The Volt is made and built here. People have short memories. Isn't Toyota the car company that knew about its accelerator problem for years and just made excuses and lied. And it killed over 50 people.
